About TickTap

TickTap is a simple, independent ticketing service for events across the UK: gigs, club nights, comedy, whatever's happening near you. Buy in one tap, get your ticket straight away, show the QR at the door. No account, no app, no faff.

Why we built it

Buying a ticket to an event shouldn't mean an account, a password, a waiting room and a page of fees. We wanted something fast and fair: a clean checkout, an instant ticket in your inbox, and a booking fee that's easy to understand. For the people putting events on, we wanted listing an event to be quick, and getting paid to be straightforward.

Who we are

TickTap is a new, UK-based business. Right now we trade as a sole trader under the name “TickTap”. We're not a limited company yet, as we're still getting started. That doesn't change how carefully we handle your money or your tickets; if anything, it means you're dealing with real people who care about getting it right.

How a ticket works

After you pay, your ticket is a live page with a unique QR code, and we email you a copy with a PDF attached. At the door, staff scan the QR; each code is valid for one entry, and once it's scanned your ticket shows as used. That's it.

How we handle money

This matters, so we'll be plain about it. When you buy a ticket:

Payments are processed by Stripe, a global payments provider. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers.

Get in touch

Questions, problems, or just want to say hello? Email bookings@ticktap.co.uk. It's one inbox for everything, and we usually reply within a working day.

Putting on an event?

If you run events, you can list one with TickTap, set your prices and capacity, and watch sales come in from your dashboard. We review every event before it goes on sale. Head to the selling tickets on TickTap page to get started, or read the Organiser Agreement for the details.
