Refund Policy

We want refunds to be fair and clear. Because TickTap is the ticket seller of record, we handle your refund directly where one is due. Refunds cover the ticket price only: the booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.

The booking fee

The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases, including if the organiser cancels, reschedules or changes the event. Where a refund is due, we refund the ticket price only.

If we can't fulfil your order

If, after you pay, we're unable to issue your ticket (for example a technical failure or the last tickets selling out in the same moment), we'll refund the ticket price and let you know by email. You don't need to do anything.

If an event is cancelled

If the organiser cancels the event, you're entitled to a refund of the ticket price. The booking fee is not refunded.

If an event is rescheduled or materially changed

Change of mind

Tickets for scheduled events are generally non-refundable for change of mind, which is standard for live events. This does not affect your statutory rights where they apply.

How to request a refund

Email bookings@ticktap.co.uk with your order reference (it's on your ticket). We'll confirm within one working day.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Duplicate or already-scanned tickets

Each ticket's QR code is valid for one entry. We can't refund a ticket that has already been scanned in at the event.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Note that tickets to events on a specific date are generally exempt from the 14-day cancellation right that applies to most online purchases, which is why change-of-mind refunds aren't offered as standard.

Questions people ask us all the time
