Safety and reporting a concern

If you’re worried about an event, a listing or someone’s safety, here is who to contact.

Last updated: 3 November 2026

In an emergency

If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. For non-emergency police matters, call 101.

Safety at events

The organiser is responsible for running the event, including licensing and safety. At the event, speak to the organiser, venue staff or security. Organisers must comply with licensing, safety, accessibility and consumer-protection obligations for their event.

Reporting a listing or account

If you think an event or listing on TickTap is illegal, unsafe, fake or breaks our listing rules, email bookings@ticktap.co.uk. Please include the event link and what concerns you.

We act on what happens on TickTap. See our On-site and Off-site Policy.

Fraud and suspicious messages

TickTap will never ask for your card details by email. If you get a suspicious message claiming to be from us, don’t click any links and forward it to us. If you think you’ve been the victim of fraud, contact your bank and report it to Action Fraud (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or Police Scotland on 101.

What we do

We look into every report. We may contact the organiser, pause or remove a listing, or close an account, as set out in our Terms. Where the law requires it, we may share information with the police or another lawful authority.
